THK LF-X Compact Ball Spline
The THK LF-X Compact Ball Spline is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion with torque transmission. Its compact spline nut uses a new ball circulation structure. The outer diameter is the same as a linear bushing, helping save space in machine designs.
The LF-X uses multiple rows of balls to provide high load capacity and rigidity. Its preload structure also helps eliminate angular backlash during rotation. The flanged design makes mounting the spline nut to a housing simple.
The THK LF-X is available with 3 to 30 mm spline shaft diameters. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 0.42 to 20.8 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 0.48 to 34.0 kN. Models LF4X to LF6X are available in stainless steel for high corrosion resistance.
