THK LF Flanged Ball Spline
The THK LF Flanged Ball Spline is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion with torque transmission. Its spline nut has a flange that bolts directly to the housing. This makes installation simple and suits applications with limited housing width.
The LF uses a medium-torque ball spline design with multiple rows of balls. Its preload structure helps eliminate angular backlash and improve rigidity and positioning accuracy. It is available with both solid and hollow spline shafts.
The THK LF was expanded in 2025 with new LF80 and LF100 models. The range now covers spline shaft diameters from 6 to 100 mm. THK also highlights applications such as medical devices and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
