THK LBG Geared Rotary Ball Spline
The THK LBG Rotary Ball Spline is designed for applications that require both rotary and linear motion. It has gear teeth on the spline nut flange and built-in radial and thrust bearings. This compact design supports torque transmission through the spline nut.
The LBG uses six rows of balls to support the spline shaft. A 45° contact angle and preload help eliminate angular backlash and provide high rigidity. The integrated support bearings also provide strong support against radial loads.
The THK LBG is available with 20 to 85 mm spline shaft diameters. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 9.4 to 55.1 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 20.1 to 94.1 kN. Solid and hollow spline shaft options are available.
