THK LBST Heavy-Load Ball Spline

The THK LBST Heavy-Load Ball Spline is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion with high torque capacity. It uses a cylindrical spline nut with a longer body than the LBS. This makes it suitable for applications with limited space, large torque, overhanging loads or moment loads.

The LBST uses a high-torque ball spline design with six rows of balls. A single spline nut provides preload to eliminate angular backlash and improve rigidity. The large contact area also supports high loads in both radial and torque directions.

The THK LBST is available with 20 to 150 mm spline shaft diameters. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 9.4 to 196 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 20.1 to 405 kN. Basic torque ratings range from 90.2 to 13,900 N·m, depending on the model.
