THK LBS High-Torque Ball Spline

The THK LBS High-Torque Ball Spline is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion while transmitting torque. It has a compact cylindrical spline nut. A key is used in the nut body to transmit torque.

The LBS uses six rows of balls arranged around the spline shaft. A single spline nut provides preload to eliminate angular backlash and improve rigidity. The large contact area also supports high loads in the radial and torque directions.

The THK LBS is available with 15 to 100 mm spline shaft diameters. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 4.4 to 126 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 8.4 to 237 kN. Solid and hollow spline shaft options are available.
