THK LBR Flanged Ball Spline

The THK LBR Flanged Ball Spline is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion with high torque transmission. It is based on the heavy-load LBST and has a flange in the centre of the spline nut. This makes it suitable for applications with moment loads, such as industrial robot arms.

The LBR uses a high-torque ball spline design with six rows of balls. A single spline nut provides preload to reduce angular backlash and improve rigidity. Its large contact area also supports high loads in both radial and torque directions.

The THK LBR is available with 15 to 100 mm spline shaft diameters. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 4.4 to 137 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 8.4 to 271 kN. Basic torque ratings range from 30.4 to 6,460 N·m, depending on the model.
