THK LBF Flanged Ball Spline
The THK LBF Flanged Ball Spline is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion with high torque transmission. Its flanged spline nut attaches directly to the housing, making installation simple. It is also suitable for applications where there is limited housing width.
The LBF uses a high-torque ball spline design with multiple rows of balls. A single spline nut provides preload to reduce angular backlash and improve rigidity. Its flange also allows a dowel pin to be used to eliminate angular backlash caused by fitting.
The THK LBF is available with 15 to 100 mm spline shaft diameters. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 4.4 to 126 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 8.4 to 237 kN. Solid and hollow spline shaft options are available.
