THK LF Series Medium Torque Type Ball Spline

The THK LF Series uses a flanged spline nut that bolts straight onto the housing, making assembly simpler than a keyed cylindrical design. It’s a good fit for locations where machining a keyway could deform the housing, or where the housing itself is too narrow for one. Like other medium torque ball splines, its spline shaft has two to three crests around the circumference held by four to six rows of balls, giving it no angular backlash in the rotational direction.

It’s available in shaft diameters from 6mm up to 100mm, with a basic dynamic load rating from 1.18 kN to 60.9 kN and a basic static load rating from 2.16 kN to 94.5 kN.
