THK SLS Series High-Torque Caged Ball Spline
The THK SLS Series High-Torque Caged Ball Spline uses THK’s caged-ball technology to keep the balls evenly spaced during operation, reducing ball-to-ball contact and helping achieve smooth, low-noise motion with reduced torque fluctuation. The ball cage also supports grease retention for longer maintenance intervals.
The SLS Series features a high-torque structure with a straight cylindrical spline nut. A keyway can be used to secure the nut to the housing and transmit torque, making it suitable for applications requiring both linear motion and high torque transmission.
Available with spline shaft diameters from 25 to 100 mm, the series offers basic dynamic load ratings from 18.2 to 188.2 kN and static load ratings from 22.5 to 190.7 kN, depending on the model.
