THK LT-X Series Medium Torque Type Ball Spline

The THK LT-X Series is a compact, cylindrical medium torque ball spline where the spline shaft’s two to three crests are each flanked by two rows of balls (four to six rows total), preloaded for zero angular backlash and high rigidity in both radial and torque directions. A redesigned ball circulation path makes the nut up to 20% smaller in outer diameter than the earlier Model LT, with an outer diameter matching an equivalent linear bushing, while improving high-speed performance (validated to 10,000 km at 2 m/s with no abnormalities) and reducing sliding resistance fluctuation. Basic dynamic load rating ranges from 0.42 to 20.8 kN across spline shaft diameters of 3 to 30 mm, with solid or hollow shaft options and an optional QZ Lubricator for extended maintenance intervals.
