THK LFK-X Series Medium Torque Type Ball Spline
The THK LFK-X Series takes the flanged LF-X design and flattens the flange in four places, lowering the nut’s core height and reducing weight versus a round-flanged equivalent for a more compact overall design. It retains the same medium torque ball spline structure, with preloaded crests and multiple ball rows on the spline shaft for zero angular backlash and high radial and torque rigidity, and an extended LFK-XL option is available for moment loads or torque and overhung loads beyond standard LFK-X ratings. Basic dynamic load rating ranges from 0.56 to 20.8 kN across spline shaft diameters of 5 to 30 mm, with the smallest sizes (LFK5X, LFK6X) made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
