THK LBF Series Medium-Load Ball Spline
The THK LBF Series Medium-Load Ball Spline is a flanged ball spline designed for linear motion and torque transmission, with the spline nut mounting directly to the housing for straightforward installation. Its flanged construction is useful where a keyed cylindrical mounting arrangement is less practical.
The LBF Series provides high torque and load capacity while maintaining precise spline motion. A dowel pin can also be used with the flange to help secure the spline nut and prevent rotational movement between the nut and housing.
Available with spline shaft diameters from 15 to 100 mm, the series offers basic dynamic load ratings from 4.4 to 126 kN and basic static load ratings from 8.4 to 237 kN, depending on the model. Basic torque ratings reach up to 6,360 N·m, with static permissible moments up to 3,460 N·m for a single spline nut.
Selected models are also available with high-temperature configurations for operation up to 100°C, while felt seal options provide additional contamination protection.
