Yamaha PHASER MF Series Linear Motor Single-Axis Robots
The Yamaha PHASER MF Series is a range of linear motor single-axis robots designed for high-speed and long-distance linear movement. The flat core linear motor provides smooth movement without the critical speed limitations of ball screw systems.
The MF Series includes MF7, MF15, MF20, MF30 and MF75 models, with single and double carriage configurations. Depending on the model, maximum payload ranges from 10 kg to 160 kg, while maximum speed reaches up to 2,500 mm/s. Stroke lengths extend up to 4,050 mm, with repeated positioning accuracy of ±5 μm.
The MF Series uses a magnetic scale with 1 μm resolution and supports multi-carrier operation for flexible production layouts. Double-carriage models can also improve space efficiency by allowing two carriers to operate on one robot. Various controllers, cable configurations, installation directions and clean specifications are available depending on the model.
