Yamaha TRANSERVO SS Series Slider Type Single-Axis Robots
The Yamaha TRANSERVO SS Series is a compact slider type single-axis robot designed for precise linear movement. It uses a stepper motor and ball screw drive to provide smooth and reliable positioning.
The SS Series includes the SS04 and SS05H models, with different ball screw leads and stroke options. Depending on the model, maximum horizontal payload ranges from 2 kg to 12 kg, while speeds reach up to 1,000 mm/s. Stroke lengths range from 50 mm to 800 mm, with positioning repeatability of ±0.02 mm.
The SS Series is available in straight and space-saving configurations, with the motor installed on the right or left side. Models can also be selected with or without a brake, while clean room grease is available as an option. The robots support TS-S2, TS-SH and TS-SD controllers for I/O point tracing, remote commands and pulse train control.
