Yamaha FLIP-X R Series Rotation Axis Robots
The Yamaha FLIP-X R Series is a range of rotation axis robots designed for precise and reliable rotary movement. The compact design makes the robots easy to integrate into automated equipment. The R Series includes the R5, R10 and R20 models, with maximum payloads of 10 kg, 15 kg and 20 kg respectively. All models provide 360° rotation, speeds of up to 360°/s and positioning repeatability of ±0.0083°.
The robots use an AC servo motor and harmonic drive for smooth and accurate rotation. Each model supports a different payload and moment of inertia, allowing the appropriate model to be selected based on the workpiece and tooling requirements.
The R Series can be paired with Yamaha controllers for programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and pulse train control. Different cable lengths and cable entry configurations are also available.
