Yamaha YK-XGP Series Dust-Proof and Drip-Proof SCARA Robot

The Yamaha YK-XGP Series is a range of 4-axis SCARA robots designed for automated production in environments where protection against dust and liquid is required. The robots feature a protection class equivalent to IP65 and use direct-coupled transmission for precise and reliable movement.

The series includes YK250XGP, YK350XGP, YK400XGP, YK500XGP, YK500XGLP, YK600XGHP, YK700XGP, YK800XGP, YK900XGP and YK1000XGP models. Arm lengths range from 250 mm to 1,000 mm, with maximum payloads from 4 kg to 20 kg. Depending on the model, X-axis speeds reach up to 10.6 m/s.

The robots provide repeatability of up to ±0.01 mm on the X and Y axes and ±0.004° on the R axis, depending on the model. They use the RCX340 controller and support programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication. The range also offers different Z-axis strokes, tool flange options and cable configurations.
