Yamaha YK-XGC/XC Series Clean SCARA Robots
The Yamaha YK-XGC/XC Series is a range of clean SCARA robots designed for automated production in cleanroom environments. The series uses a sealed structure, bellows-covered Z-axis spline and built-in harnesses to help prevent dust generation.
The range includes YK180XC, YK220XC, YK250XGC, YK350XGC, YK400XGC, YK500XGLC, YK600XGLC, YK700XC, YK800XC and YK1000XC models. Arm lengths range from 180 mm to 1,000 mm, with maximum payloads from 1 kg to 20 kg. Depending on the model, maximum X-axis speed reaches up to 8.0 m/s.
The YK-XGC and YK-XGLC models achieve ISO Class 3 cleanliness, while the YK-XC models provide Class 10 cleanliness when used with suction. Intake air requirements range from 30 to 60 Nℓ/min. The robots use the RCX340 controller and support programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication.
