Yamaha YK-XGS Series Wall-Mount / Inverse SCARA Robots
The Yamaha YK-XGS Series is a range of 4-axis SCARA robots designed for wall-mounted and inverse installation. This design provides flexibility when integrating robots into automated equipment and helps make better use of available space.
The series includes YK300XGS, YK400XGS, YK500XGS, YK600XGS, YK700XGS, YK800XGS, YK900XGS and YK1000XGS models. Arm lengths range from 300 mm to 1,000 mm, with maximum payloads from 5 kg to 20 kg. Depending on the model, X-axis speeds reach up to 10.6 m/s.
The robots provide repeatability of up to ±0.01 mm on the X and Y axes and ±0.004° on the R axis. Different Z-axis strokes, tool flange options and cable lengths are available. The YK-XGS Series uses the RCX340 controller and supports programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication.
