Yamaha YE Series Cost-Effective SCARA Robots
The Yamaha YE Series is a range of cost-effective 4-axis SCARA robots designed to provide reliable performance for automated production. The series combines high-speed operation with a design that helps reduce equipment and implementation costs.
The YE Series includes the YE4-40, YE10-51, YE10-61 and YE10-71, with arm lengths from 400 mm to 710 mm and maximum payloads of 4 kg or 10 kg. Depending on the model, X-axis speeds reach up to 9.5 m/s, while Z-axis speeds reach up to 2.0 m/s. Standard cycle times range from 0.36 to 0.42 seconds.
The YE Series uses the RCX440 controller and supports programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication. Options such as a through-hole shaft, through-hole cap and brake release switch help simplify wiring, installation and maintenance. The series also supports the RCXiVY2+ robot-integrated vision system.
