Yamaha YK-XE Series Cost-Performance SCARA Robots
The Yamaha YK-XE Series is a range of 4-axis SCARA robots designed to combine high-speed operation, reliable performance and cost efficiency. The series uses an optimized arm structure to reduce vibration and shorten cycle times.
The YK-XE Series includes the YK400XE-4, YK510XE-10, YK610XE-10 and YK710XE-10, with arm lengths from 400 mm to 710 mm and maximum payloads from 4 kg to 10 kg. Standard cycle times range from 0.38 to 0.42 seconds, depending on the model.
The robots support applications such as assembly, packaging, palletizing, sorting, inspection, labelling and soldering. The RCX340 controller provides programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication. Options include through-shaft and through-cap wiring, a brake release switch and integration with the RCXiVY2+ robot vision system.
