Yamaha YK-XG Series Tiny SCARA Robots

The Yamaha YK-XG Series Tiny SCARA Robots are compact 4-axis robots designed for precise and high-speed handling of small components. With arm lengths from 120 mm to 220 mm and a maximum payload of 1 kg, the series is suitable for applications where installation space is limited.

The range includes the YK120XG, YK150XG, YK180XG, YK180X and YK220X models. Depending on the model, maximum X-axis speed reaches up to 3.4 m/s, while the Z-axis reaches up to 0.9 m/s. Repeatability is ±0.01 mm on the X and Y axes and ±0.004° on the R axis.

The YK-XG models feature a completely beltless structure with direct coupling of the Z and R axes. This design provides high rigidity and accuracy while reducing belt-related maintenance. The robots are controlled by the RCX340 controller and support programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication.
