Yamaha Robonity AGBS Belt Drive Robot
The Yamaha Robonity AGBS is a timing belt drive single-axis robot designed for high-speed and long-distance transport. Its belt drive system allows fast movement over long strokes, making it suitable for applications that require efficient linear transport.
The AGBS Series includes AGBS10 and AGBS14 models, with standard and high-speed motor options. Depending on the model, maximum speed reaches up to 3,750 mm/s, maximum horizontal payload is 60 kg, and stroke lengths extend up to 4,000 mm.
The AGBS provides ±0.04 mm repeatability and uses absolute or batteryless absolute encoders with 23-bit resolution. It also offers cleanliness equivalent to ISO Class 3 (ISO 14644-1) when used with the required suction air fitting and operated at 1,000 mm/s or below.
