NPM Linear Shaft Servo Motors

Nippon Pulse Motor (NPM) Linear Shaft Motors are high-precision direct-drive linear servo motors. They use a magnetic shaft and a cylindrical coil forcer to produce smooth, non-contact linear motion.

The Linear Shaft Motor range includes S080, S120, S160, S200, S250 and S350 Series, as well as large-gap and Baby Shaft models. The motors provide high thrust with zero cogging and no mechanical contact between the shaft and forcer. The range supports strokes of up to 4.6 m and speeds above 10 m/s. It can also operate at very low speeds down to 8 μm/s. Parallel, tandem and multi-drive configurations are available for different motion requirements.

Linear Shaft Motors are suitable for precision positioning, semiconductor equipment, medical equipment, high-speed printing and precision conveying. They can also operate in demanding environments such as vacuum or areas exposed to oil and water.
