NPM PFCL25 Captive Linear Stepper Motors

Nippon Pulse Motor (NPM) PFCL25 Captive Linear Stepper Motors combine a 2-phase PM stepper motor with direct linear motion. The built-in anti-rotation mechanism eliminates the need for an external linear guide or anti-rotation mechanism.

The PFCL25 Captive Series uses a 48-step motor with a 0.48 mm screw lead. It provides 0.010 mm resolution and a 19 mm effective stroke. Maximum thrust reaches 50 N. Four winding options are available, including unipolar and bipolar configurations with different rated voltages. The motor has a compact 25 mm diameter and weighs approximately 60 g.

The captive design allows the shaft to move linearly without rotating. This makes the PFCL25 suitable for compact linear positioning, automation equipment and applications with limited installation space.
