The Unimotion LMLA Series Linear Motor is an ironless, direct drive linear motor built for ultra smooth, high precision motion. Since the coil design leaves out iron, there’s no cogging or attraction force between the forcer and magnet plate, which gives you exceptionally smooth movement, fast response, and accurate positioning.
