NPM SPS Series Precision Stages

Nippon Pulse Motor (NPM) SPS Series Precision Stages are high-precision linear stages driven by linear shaft motors. They combine smooth servo motion with precise positioning for demanding automation applications.

The SPS100 Series is available with 50 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm strokes. Encoder resolution options range from 1 μm to 0.0025 μm for incremental encoders and 0.01 μm or 0.005 μm for absolute encoders. A cross roller guide provides stable linear movement. The stage offers repeatability of up to ±0.3 μm and a maximum load capacity of 30 kg. The shaft motor also provides cogging-free operation with low noise and no motor maintenance.

The SPS Series supports single or parallel configurations. Multiple stages can also be combined into an XY stage using the optional jig plate. It is suitable for precision positioning, inspection, optical equipment and other applications requiring high accuracy.
