Yamaha Flip-X T Type Rail Robot

The Yamaha FLIP-X T Type (Rail Type) is a compact, frameless single-axis robot designed for flexible system integration. Built with a rail-only structure without an outer frame, the T Type allows machine designers to embed the linear unit directly into equipment frames, reducing overall machine footprint while maintaining precise positioning performance.

Compared to the fully framed F Type, the T Type relies on the host machine’s structure for rigidity, making it a cost-effective option where the linear unit can be mounted onto an existing rigid base or frame. Engineered for cost-effective automation, the FLIP-X T Type combines a ball screw drive, integrated linear guide, and AC servo motor in a slim body well suited for compact production systems where minimising added bulk is a priority.
