Yamaha Robonity ABAR Rod Robot
The Yamaha Robonity ABAR is a rod-type single-axis robot with a built-in linear guide. It offers a compact and rigid design while supporting radial loads during operation. The series is available in ABAR04, ABAR05 and ABAR08 models, with different ball screw leads, stroke lengths and payload options. Depending on the model, it offers speeds of up to 1,200 mm/s, payloads of up to 80 kg and strokes from 50 to 800 mm.
The built-in linear guide helps prevent the rod from rotating, providing a rod non-rotation accuracy of ±0°. It also provides ±0.01 mm positioning repeatability and uses a 23-bit absolute or battery-less absolute encoder.
