THK SRS Series Miniature Caged Ball LM Guide
The THK SRS Series is a miniature caged ball LM Guide with a low cross-sectional LM rail height, giving it a lightweight and compact structure. It has two raceways built into this compact design, letting it receive loads from all directions and work well as a single axis guide even in locations where a moment load is applied.
Because ball cages remove friction between the balls, the SRS Series runs at high speed with low noise, and stays maintenance-free over a long service life. It also produces very little dust, since the cages help retain lubricant, and the LM block and LM rail are made of stainless steel for strong corrosion resistance.
Part of the LM block is made from injection-molded resin, which keeps the SRS Series lightweight and low-inertia, a good fit for compact, precision motion applications.
There are 6 model variants, including standard, wide block, and long block options, all with bolts mounted from above. Sizes range from 5 to 25. Basic dynamic load ratings run from 0.439 kN to 16.5 kN, and basic static load ratings run from 0.468 kN to 22.3 kN, depending on the model.
