THK KS & BS Die-Setting Ball Cage LM Stroke

The THK KS & BS Die-Setting Ball Cage uses precision steel balls in a lightweight and rigid ball cage. The balls are arranged in a spiral pattern around the cage to prevent the ball raceways from overlapping. This helps provide smooth movement and long service life.

The ball pockets are precision-finished and securely formed to prevent the balls from falling out. This allows smooth travel even when the ball cage is longer than the housing. KS and BS models are used in precision press die sets, spinning and weaving machines, measuring instruments, medical equipment and machine tools.

The KS and BS series are available in sizes from 19 to 38 mm shaft diameter. The BS model has a groove on its outer surface to distinguish it from the KS model. THK also manufactures shafts for both models.
