THK HDR Series Full-Ball LM Guide
The THK HDR Series is a full-ball LM Guide designed for single-axis table setups. It was built to work well even in tables that use just one LM Guide, which helps keep single-axis tables compact and lightweight.
This series offers high rigidity in the rolling direction. The raceways sit on the sides of the LM rail and contact the balls at a 45° angle, giving the design strong resistance to tilt. It also uses a 4-way equal load structure, so it can bear loads evenly from four directions. This means it can be mounted in any orientation, giving you flexibility across a wide range of applications.
Because the ball raceways are placed on the sides of the rail, foreign materials have a harder time reaching them. This makes the HDR Series a solid choice for environments like woodworking machines, tire manufacturing equipment, or resin molding machines, where chips, rubber, or resin residue could otherwise get onto the rail.
There are 13 model variants in this series, including flanged and non-flanged types, short block and long block options, and different bolt mounting configurations. Sizes range from 15 to 65, with basic dynamic load ratings from 7.07 kN to 249 kN and basic static load ratings from 8.43 kN to 323 kN, depending on the model chosen.
