THK GSR-R Series Full-Ball LM Guide (Separate Type, With Rack)

The THK GSR-R Series is based on THK’s GSR Series, but with rack teeth cut directly into the LM rail, which makes it much easier to design and assemble a drive mechanism without adding separate rack components. Like the GSR Series, it has a large self-adjustment capability, since balls roll in two rows of raceways with a specially inclined LM block top face, so a clearance-free preload is applied just by tightening the mounting bolts. This makes it a strong choice for locations where achieving precise mounting accuracy is difficult, such as general industrial machinery.

It carries a basic dynamic load rating from 20 kN to 37 kN and a basic static load rating from 22 kN to 39.1 kN, and it’s available in sizes 25, 30, and 35. Note that the GSR-R Series can’t be used in single-axis applications, since it needs a paired rail setup to handle loads properly.
