THK ER Series Precision Linear Pack

The THK ER Series Precision Linear Pack is an ultra-thin, lightweight slide unit built from precision-formed, heat-treated, and ground stainless steel plate. Balls roll between V-shaped grooves on the outer rail and inner block, circulating through a ball case built into the inner block for infinite linear motion at an extremely small friction coefficient. Because the outer rail and inner block are made from very thin stainless steel plate, the unit has low inertia and excellent high-speed response, while offering lower design cost and faster assembly than conventional miniature ball bearings. Used in magnetic disc devices, electronic equipment, semiconductor manufacturing and inspection equipment, medical devices, measuring equipment, plotters, and photocopiers.
