THK CSR Series Full-Ball LM Guide (Cross Type)

The THK CSR Series combines two LM rails at a right angle, machined with such high precision that the perpendicularity error across the LM block’s six faces stays within 2 μm per 100mm. This lets you build an accurate orthogonal X-Y motion system using the CSR Series alone, without the conventional saddle structure that would normally be needed, keeping your design simpler and more compact.

Each row of balls sits at a 45° contact angle, so the block carries a uniform load rating in all four directions, radial, reverse-radial, and lateral, letting it be used in any orientation. With four rows of balls arranged in a balanced pattern, the CSR Series also resists moment loads well and keeps motion smooth even under preload. It’s available in sizes from 15 to 45.
