MCM / MCM-L Miniature Linear Guide

The MCM series miniature linear guide is a compact, high-precision linear motion system designed for applications where space is limited but stable accuracy and rigidity are required. It uses a four-point contact structure, with steel balls arranged in two rows that contact the rail raceways at four points. This configuration provides balanced load capacity and stable motion even under combined loads, despite the guide’s small size. The balls circulate smoothly within the block, enabling infinite linear motion with low friction and low noise.

The MCM series features an integrated ball return structure that supports both horizontal and vertical mounting, ensuring smooth and consistent motion across different installation orientations. Stainless steel rails and blocks provide excellent corrosion resistance, making the guide suitable for clean environments and precision equipment. Typical applications include LED and OLED manufacturing equipment, semiconductor and inspection systems, medical devices, and compact automation equipment.

The MCM-L (long block) variant shares the same structural design as the standard MCM but uses a longer block length to provide higher moment load capacity and improved rigidity, making it suitable for applications requiring greater stability without increasing rail size.
