LR / LR-Z Series LM Roller

The LM Roller is a heavy-load linear motion guide in which contoured rollers circulate infinitely along a precision-ground, high-rigidity raceway base while being retained by a cage. A center guide integrated into the raceway base continuously corrects roller skew, ensuring smooth and stable rolling motion even under high loads.

LM Rollers are widely used in NC machine tool XYZ guides, precision press ram guides, press die changers, and heavy-load transfer systems, where high rigidity, durability, and smooth motion are required.

The LR Model LM Roller is designed to be installed in a groove machined on the mounting surface and secured by bolting through four holes in the raceway base. The LR-Z variant is a lightweight type that uses a resin retainer and is mounted in the same manner. Both types include a groove for seal installation, allowing a high-performance rubber seal to be easily fitted for improved contamination protection. The LR series supports high-speed travel of up to 1 m/s, and fixture models SM and SE are available.
