NPM Unidirectional Synchronous Motors

Nippon Pulse Motor (NPM) Unidirectional Synchronous Motors are compact AC motors designed for stable, constant-speed rotation. The motor speed synchronises with the AC power frequency, providing consistent rotation with minimal effect from voltage or load changes.

The range includes PTM-12E and PTM-24B motor series. Depending on the model, rated speeds are 500 or 600 rpm for 12-pole motors, and 250 or 300 rpm for 24-pole motors at 50 Hz and 60 Hz respectively. Available voltage options include AC12 V, 24 V, 100 V and 200 V.

Geared versions include the PTM-12EG and PTM-24AG Series. Integrated gearboxes provide lower output speeds and higher torque for applications requiring slow, stable rotation.

The motors use a permanent magnet rotor for responsive starting and stopping. Rotation direction is selected as either clockwise (CW) or counterclockwise (CCW), with the motor operating in one direction only.
