ELM Servo Shaft SSA Series Tubular Linear Motors

Elshin Linear Motor (ELM) Servo Shaft SSA Series Tubular Linear Motors provide fast and precise linear motion in a compact design. They use a tubular linear motor structure for direct-drive movement. The SSA Series includes 06, 08, 09, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25 and 32 sizes. Depending on the model, peak thrust ranges from 4.5 N to 420 N. Maximum speeds reach up to 4 m/s, with strokes up to 1,100 mm.

The motors include built-in encoder feedback with 7.5 μm or 10 μm resolution, depending on the series. External position sensors are also available, with resolutions from 0.1 μm to 5 μm. The Servo Shaft Series is designed for packaging, material handling, automated assembly, biomedical equipment, semiconductor equipment and robotics. Its direct-drive design provides high speed, high acceleration and precise positioning.
