NPM Micro Direct Drive Motors

Nippon Pulse Motor (NPM) Micro Direct Drive Motors are compact rotary motors designed for precise and responsive motion. The direct-drive design eliminates the need for gears, providing smooth and accurate rotation.

The range includes MDS and MDH Series motors in 13 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm and 70 mm body sizes. The MDH models feature a hollow shaft for applications that require cables or components to pass through the motor.

Depending on the model, peak torque ranges from 7 mN·m to 3.1 N·m. Maximum speeds reach 3,000 rpm, while encoder resolution is available up to 21-bit absolute or 648,000 counts/rev incremental. The compact design and high-resolution feedback make these motors suitable for precision positioning, robotics, automation and other applications requiring accurate rotary motion.
