Sanyo Denki SANMOTION C S500 Motion Controller

The Sanyo Denki SANMOTION C S500 Motion Controller is a high-performance controller designed for multi-axis motion and robot control. It can control up to 64 motor axes with control cycles of up to 1 ms.

The S500 supports multiple robot configurations, including Cartesian, SCARA, palletizing, parallel link, and 6- or 7-axis articulated robots. It can also control multiple robots simultaneously from a single controller.

The controller supports EtherCAT, Ethernet and serial communication, with open network options including Modbus TCP and OPC UA. It also provides electronic cam, electronic gear, linear and circular interpolation, and flexible positioning control functions.

SANMOTION C Studio provides programming, configuration, simulation, HMI, analysis and diagnostic functions. Expansion modules are available for digital I/O, analog I/O, encoder inputs and additional communication functions.
