Sanyo Denki SANMOTION C S100 Motion Controller

The Sanyo Denki SANMOTION C S100 Motion Controller is a compact motion controller designed for precise machine and robot control. It features a high-speed EtherCAT interface and is available in two configurations: the SMC100-A high-performance type and SMC100-B standard type.

The SMC100-A supports motion and robot control, while the SMC100-B specializes in PTP positioning. The controller can control up to 8 axes and supports functions such as electronic cam, electronic gear, linear interpolation and circular interpolation. The SANMOTION C S100 supports EtherCAT, Ethernet, RS-485 and USB 2.0 interfaces, with 16 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. It operates on a 24 VDC power supply and uses passive cooling.

The controller supports IEC 61131-3 programming languages and provides robot control for Cartesian, SCARA and parallel link robots on the SMC100-A model. The compact unit measures 55 × 120 × 110 mm and weighs approximately 300 g.
