THK LTR-V Series Rotary Ball Spline with Support Bearing
The THK LTR-V Series is the lightweight member of the LTR rotary ball spline family, integrating angular-contact support bearing raceways directly into the spline nut’s outer surface for a compact, weight-reduced unit. It shares the same preloaded, multi-row ball arrangement across the spline shaft’s three crests as other LTR models, eliminating angular backlash while keeping rigidity high for its size, and installs easily by securing the nut to a housing with bolts. Available across spline shaft diameters of 16 to 25 mm, with solid or hollow shaft options and a dedicated seal option to protect the support bearing from contamination.
