THK LTR-A Series Rotary Ball Spline with Support Bearing

The THK LTR-A Series is a more compact variant of the LTR rotary ball spline, with angular-contact ball raceways machined directly into the spline nut’s outer surface to form an integrated support bearing, smaller in overall size than the standard LTR. Preloaded balls across the spline shaft’s three crests eliminate angular backlash, and the support bearing uses a 45-degree contact angle (versus 30 degrees on standard LTR) for high rigidity against moment loads in an even more compact footprint. It installs easily with bolts alone, and a dedicated seal option protects the support bearing from contaminants. Available across spline shaft diameters of 8 to 40 mm, with solid or hollow shaft options.
