THK LBGT Series Rotary Ball Spline with Gear

The THK LBGT Series shares the LBG Series’ geared, unit-type rotary ball spline design, integrating gear teeth on the flange circumference with radial and thrust needle bearings on the spline nut, but adds a dedicated thrust raceway for extra axial rigidity. Three equidistant crests on the spline shaft, held by six rows of preloaded balls at a 45-degree contact angle, eliminate angular backlash and deliver high rigidity against torque and moment loads, while the added thrust raceway better supports axial loading in demanding spline nut drive applications. Available in spline shaft diameters of 20 to 50 mm, with solid or hollow shaft options.
