THK KR Series Full-Ball Type LM Guide Actuator

The THK KR Series combines a rigid U-shaped outer rail with an inner block that integrates LM Guide units on both side faces and a ball screw unit in the center, all in a single highly rigid, highly accurate actuator. Each row of balls sits at a 45° contact angle, so the load rating stays even across all four directions, radial, reverse-radial, and lateral, letting the KR Series be mounted in any orientation.

Since the housings also function as support units and the inner block serves as the table, this integrated design cuts down significantly on design and assembly time compared to building a linear guide and ball screw separately. The U-shaped outer rail also adds rigidity against moment and torsional loads, making it a solid choice for compact automation stages.
