SMAC Linear Actuators
SMAC Linear Actuators are precision programmable electric actuators based on moving coil technology. They provide closed-loop control of position, velocity and force for precise linear motion. The range includes LDL, LCA, LAL and other actuator series with different stroke lengths, force capacities and form factors. Depending on the series, stroke lengths extend up to 250 mm, with peak forces reaching up to 500 N in the linear actuator range.
SMAC actuators support programmable position, velocity, acceleration and force control. Built-in optical encoder feedback provides real-time position monitoring. The patented Soft-Land™ function allows controlled low-force contact with a workpiece, with forces as low as 0.1 N.
Options include different encoder resolutions, shaft configurations, return springs, vacuum connections and IP protection. Selected models are also available with built-in controllers for simpler installation.
