Koganei iB-Move

The Koganei iB-Move is a low cost, two position linear stepping actuator that gives you quiet, high speed movement for light workpieces, without needing a ball screw or gears. Since there is no gear mechanism, you also avoid backlash, which helps keep motion smooth and repeatable.

Setup is simple too. You can adjust stroke, speed, acceleration, deceleration, and thrust level settings easily, and open loop control keeps the overall cost down. With no ball screw and a low speed mechanism, it runs extremely quietly, making it a good fit for point to point tasks where you want simple programming and clean, controlled motion.
