Koganei iB-Flow

The Koganei iB-Flow is a digital flow controller that gives you precise, repeatable control over cylinder speed. Instead of manually turning a needle valve, you set the flow rate as a simple 0 to 100 percent opening value using the setting device, which cuts down on adjustment work and removes the guesswork that came with older analog controllers.

It also comes with a safe lock mechanism. Once the needle opening is set, it stays locked in place by an internal planetary gear, so there is no risk of the flow rate drifting from vibration or accidental bumps, and no power is needed to keep it locked. The setting device only needs to be connected when you are adjusting settings or measuring cylinder operation time, so it does not need to stay attached during normal use.

For applications that need tighter control over takt time, iB-Flow pairs with the Takt Time Controller, which is a first for the industry. It constantly monitors cylinder operation time and adjusts the iB-Flow opening automatically to keep it within your target range, which helps you avoid equipment stoppages and reduces the maintenance work that comes with manual readjustment.
