NPM PULSERVO® Series Closed-Loop Stepping Motor System

The NPM PULSERVO® Series is a closed-loop stepping motor control system that gives you the simplicity and low cost of a stepper motor with the accuracy and reliability of encoder feedback. A built-in incremental encoder monitors position in real time, so the system can detect and correct for step loss under load without the tuning complexity that traditional servo systems require.

This makes PULSERVO® a practical middle ground for applications where an open-loop stepper is not accurate enough but a full servo system is more than you need. The series comes in two types. The Pulse Input Type uses standard pulse and direction signals, making it easy to drop into existing motion control setups. The Motionnet Type connects over NPM’s Motionnet serial network, which is better suited for multi-axis systems where coordinated motion and reduced wiring are priorities.
