NPM PULSERVO® II EtherCAT Closed-Loop Stepping Motor System
The PULSERVO® II Series is the next generation of closed-loop stepping motor control from Nippon Pulse Motor, built for industrial network environments. It uses the same encoder-based closed-loop stepping architecture as the original PULSERVO®, but adds EtherCAT support for real-time communication and precise multi-axis synchronisation.
EtherCAT is a high-speed deterministic industrial Ethernet protocol, which means the PULSERVO® II can keep multiple axes tightly coordinated with minimal communication delay. This makes it a better fit than the standard Pulse Input or Motionnet types for modern automation controllers and factory networks that already run on EtherCAT infrastructure.
